Below are two plans for you to choose from. Each plan includes pricing, estimated hours of work, services provided as well as deliverables.
Basic Plan: Readily Achievable
Summary: Enhancing accessibility of e-mail communications, social media, electronic documentation, as well as basic website enhancements.
Pricing $500 to $3000
My rate is $100 per hour. For the basic plan, five to thirty hours are recommended. Which makes the price range between $500 and $3000. It includes the following services:
Testing emails, electronic documents, social media posts and websites to identify barriers (5 to 15 hours)
Suggesting solutions and creating an accessibility report (3 to 8 hours)
One or two Virtual meetings to support you in addressing accessibility barriers (2 to 4 hours)
Crafting an Accessibility Statement (2 to 4 hours)
Description:
This plan is for addressing the most readily achievable barriers. It will focus on:
Alt-text for images
Keyboard Access
Heading structures
Responsiveness and text resizing
Color contrast
Accessible fonts
Link text and plain language
These services will cover the following types of content:
Electronic documents
E-mail blasts
Websites
Social Media posts
Videos
Deliverables:
You can expect the following deliverables with the basic plan.
An accessibility report highlighting barriers and outlining possible solutions
A one to two hour virtual meeting to follow up, discuss the report and demonstrate accessibility barriers using a screen reader
Second round of testing after you have implemented accessibility fixes
An accessibility statement for your website
This plan ends with myself supporting you in writing an accessibility statement for your website to highlight the work that you have done to insure a greater experience for visitors with disabilities. An accessibility statement is a best practice and also helps to avoid lawsuits.
Pro Plan: Advanced Testing and Reporting
Summary: Composing VPATs and enhancing accessibility of websites and apps with complex content. For products that are more interactive this plan is recommended. Examples include online learning modules, job applications, immersive experiences etc.
Pricing $1000 to $6000
My rate is $100 per hour. For the Pro plan, ten to 60 hours are recommended. Which makes the price range between $1000 and $6000. It includes:
In depth testing of emails, electronic documents, social media posts and websites to identify barriers (10 to 20 hours)
Includes testing of complex content such as Interactive maps, purchasing products, long forms and applications etc.
Suggesting solutions and creating an accessibility report (5 to ten hours)
One or two Virtual meetings to support in understanding accessibility barriers and possible solutions (2 to 4 hours)
One or two trainings on creating accessible content as well as testing websites for accessibility (2
hours of prep for each one hour of training for an estimate of 3 to 12 hours)
Crafting an Accessibility Statement and VPAT (10 to 20 hours)
Description:
This plan is for addressing more advanced barriers. It will focus on:
Includes all items from the basic plan
Labeling regions such as navigation and main content
Working with accordions, toggle buttons, selectable tabs etc. and properly reporting their states to assistive technologies
Text alternatives for required fields and error messaging
Using ARIA to have screen readers announce status messages
Keyboard and screen reader access to drop down menus and submenus
Drag and drop functionality
These services will cover the following types of content:
All types of content included in the basic plan
Long forms such as job applications
Booking engines, shopping carts and checkout processes
Maps and data visualizations
Dynamic content such as single page websites and modal dialogues
Interactive infographics
Deliverables:
You can expect the following deliverables with the Pro plan.
An accessibility report highlighting barriers and outlining possible solutions. It will include complex content mentioned above
Two virtual meetings of one to two hour length to follow up, discuss the report and demonstrate accessibility barriers using a screen reader
Up to two customized one to two hour trainings for your staff on the topic of digital accessibility
Second round of testing after you have implemented accessibility fixes
An accessibility statement for your website
Creating a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT)
The pro plan ends with myself supporting you with writing an accessibility statement as well as a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template or VPAT. VPATs are the industry standard for reporting website accessibility and the most effective measure against lawsuits.
